This is a rare opportunity to discover the Ancient Teachings of the Andes as shared by traditional healer Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta from Cusco, Peru. During this series Jhaimy will be sharing the stories and traditions of the Puma, the Serpent and the Condor as connected to our physical, mental and spiritual aspects of ourselves. The ancient teachings of these power animals provide unique wisdom and through connecting with these energies you will have access to greater support in your life and on your spiritual path,
Each evening will consist of:
- An opening prayer;
- Andean wisdom teaching;
- An experiential practice (tools to take home to deepen your connection);
- A question period;
- Closing prayer and ceremony.

By special request, we are offering this one-day intensive as an unique opportunity to spend time with Jhaimy as he shares Andean Wisdom and healing techniques that have been passed on to him by his teachers and Elders. His lineage from the Northern part of Peru dates back thousands of years yet continues to be applicable and of great importance in our modern times. Discover tools and techniques that can be utilized both in your personal life, with your family and in your private practice as a healer or facilitator.
This workshop is ideal for those who work in the healing arts (massage therapists, reiki/energy healers, intuitive healers, health care workers, etc...). You will learn processes to help clear and sustain your energy, support your clients in their healing process and deepen your connection to your work and spiritual guides. Bring your questions and experiences and share in this rare opportunity of cultural exchange with the Ancient teachings of the Andes.

Sacred Plant Medicines of the Andes

Description: During this evening presentation Jhaimy will share with you the history and medicinal uses of many sacred plants and herbs in the Andes as well as the jungles of Peru, including San Pedro (or Wachuma) as well as Ayahuasca. Learn more about how traditional Curanderos work with these powerful plant energies in harmony with the land and the Apus (Mountain Spirits) to assist individuals on their healing journey. Jhaimy will also share with you practical herbal remedies and simple techniques that can be used daily to treat common ailments and illnesses. There will be an opening prayer and closing ceremony to assist each person on their healing path as well as the opportunity to ask Jhaimy any questions that you may have. (Pre-registration required. Limited to 15 people)

Healing & Integration of Mind, Body, Spirit Session:
During your healing session with Jhaimy you will experience ancient Andean techniques used for cleansing, healing and rebalancing of the subtle energies through the integration of the subconscious and conscious minds. This integration will support you to experience freedom from limitations or past traumas, and the opening of an alignment of mind, body and spirit. This session is intended to bring about a deeper connection with your heart, so that you can live more fully in the present moment. Each session consists of a consultation followed by body and energy work, which is tailored to each individual in support of your personal healing journey.

A unique opportunity to have Jhaimy visit you in your home for a 1/2 day session (approx. 3 hours) that will include an energy clearing of your home or office environment, a traditional offering and ceremony to the land in support of your dreams for 2009 and can also include private healing or energy rebalancing for members of your home or office.
